Bears in the Woods!
The First 2008 Campout | Tehachapi CA

Friday May 9th – Sunday May 11th

There are ten cabins, each one holding ten people. Cabins have electricity, heaters, and military style beds. There's no smoking or open flames allowed in cabins. There's no running water in the cabins, but there are facilities available. A few tent sites will be available for those really rugged bears who like to 'rough it'.

There are a few bathrooms with plumbing as well as out-houses. Showers facilities are there as well. There's one building with ten individual shower stalls.

There will be plenty to do all weekend long such as basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, hiking, or just relax by the roaring bonfire at night. There's something for everyone!

The town of Tehachapi is located eight miles northeast of the park and is a full service community. The Elevations of the park ranges from 5,500 - 7,000 feet above see level.

Along with other activates for the weekend, we will also be doing our cabin decorating contest. This year will give prizes for best decorated tent & area and best decorated cabin. Fell free to decorate the inside and outside of your cabin. So be creative!!

The cost for the weekend is $70 for members and $85 for non-members (includes a (one) 1 year membership to Bears LA). This price includes your meals, and non-alcoholic drinks. You are more the welcome to bring your own alcohol and snacks.
