Building a Safe & Respectful Leather Community for Everyone
Bears LA is proud to make this Transitivity & Gender Inclusion Training available to our community as part of our ongoing commitment to education, accountability, and inclusion.
Our leather and bear communities are strongest when everyone, especially trans, femme, and nonbinary bears, can show up fully as themselves, without fear of being misunderstood, excluded, or disrespected. This training is one step in the continued work of ensuring our spaces reflect the values we claim: respect, consent, dignity, and care for one another.
This recorded training is offered as a learning resource for members, titleholders, leaders, volunteers, and anyone who participates in or helps shape our community spaces.

From The Community
“As a trans person navigating the leather community, I feel heard. I feel hopeful.”
Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, affirming the importance of continuing education like this as part of our shared culture.
Why This Is Essential
Inclusion is not a trend, a checkbox, or a moment.
It’s an ongoing practice. Offering this training publicly is a statement of values and a commitment to action. It acknowledges that our community includes people of many genders and expressions, and that safety and respect must extend to everyone.

By engaging with this training, we affirm that trans, femme, and nonbinary bears belong here, not as an exception, but as an integral part of our community.
